I love so many things; some of those things are my boyfriend, a good cup of coffee, vegan cheese that melts, ripe avocados, oh and a good comfy sweater. I found my new best friend at a sample sale in LA, and needless to say it was love at first sight. I usually don't wear bright colors I mean most of my closet is neutrals, but be that as it may this sweater called out to me and I had to have it.

I paired my comfy yellow sweater with some basics since I'm not the type to really over do it, my style can easily be described as cute and simple. These Levis are so amazingly comfy and really make your outfit so cool because of the fray, and their high-waisted so it really accentuates your curves nicely. Also can we talk about these loafers? slip on loafers have completely taken over my world because they have this cool girl effect on my outfits and their just so easy to slip on (duh).

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! and let me know in the comments below have you ever taken a risk on buying something and ending up loving it so much more?

Nothing makes me more excited then holiday season! The smell of wood burning, feasts being roasted and feeling the nice chill in the air. Nothing feels better and everything feels right with the world. Not to mention all the fun parties that happen during the holiday season, but sometimes you don't know what to really wear for friends-giving, Christmas parties or any other party really. So I threw together a simple but cute holiday look that's completely stylish for any party that you attend.

First things first, these flares I mean have you ever seen corduroy flares because I’m in love with them! They’re the perfect fall/winter material and their high waisted, which accentuates your curves so nicely, I also wore a soft ribbed black turtleneck for a simple look that is equally timeless, I topped off my outfit with some cute but simple black block heels to get some extra height in the corduroy flares.

In this outfit I really let the accessories do the talking for me, so I chose a dark wood emerald watch from the FRANKIE series that I got from JORD wood watches, and can I just say that I’m not really a watch person but when I received this watch it just fit so comfortably and it’s a cool, unique watch that just makes your outfits that much more stylish. I also paired my outfit with this multi embellished cross body bag from free people. I love that the sequined bag is silver and gold because it matches my wood watch perfectly.

I wanted to say a big thank you to Jord Wood Watches for sponsoring this post! in collaboration with them I'll be doing a giveaway!  if you go to and enter in your email you will be instantly emailed a $25 e-gift code to use on their site! the giveaway will close on December 18th and midnight so make sure to enter in before then. Hey guys! so today I really wanted to shine a light on the wonderful makeup brands that I love, not only do they make my skin look flawless they also don't make me breakout and that's a huge plus. If  you know me then you know that I don't wear too much makeup, I usually go for an enhanced natural look.

So first things first, this amazing Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick from Makeup Forever. I recently decided to change out all of my makeup for more creamy stick products, while I was looking for a foundation I stumbled upon this one at a nearby Sephora. I fell in love with it as soon as I swatched it on my hand, It was that creamy consistency that I wanted that left my skin looking so dewy and fresh, has a med/high coverage, and is extremely blendable.

Milk makeup has made quite an impression on me because not only is their product amazing but the brand itself is eco-conscious. I love the packaging it's simple and clean and the product itself is so creamy that it makes my skin soft and hydrated. From Milk I use the Matte Bronzer, for some light contouring, and the Lip + Cheek Stain in Quickie. I love the stain because it makes my face have a nice natural flush and has a nice dewy finish, I also sometimes use it on my lips and it's leaves a deep red wine  color with a glossy finish. The Milk Matte Bronzer is perfect for contouring and blends in perfectly without looking too cakey.

I am a huge stan of Colorpop, want to know why? because their products are amazing, low cost, and they are always on trend. I am in LOVE with soft, peachy/pink, lip colors right now and I have to say that Calyspo is the perfect shade that I was looking for. It has a nice satin finish and it doesn't dry out my lips whatsoever, it also lasts all day for me without any touchups.

And last but definitely not least, my fave highlight the Josie Maran Illuminizing Wand. I love a good highlight and my go-to was the Becca highlight in opal, but ever since I wanted more creamy makeup I've leaned more towards the Illuminizing wand. I love this because it has a nice dewy finish, and it looks so natural. Since a little bit does go a long way it will probably take me a while to finish the whole container. You will now never catch me without my highlight and if you do it's an off day for me.

I hope you guys enjoyed this makeup post and if you want to see more of these please let me know in the comments below!

Camping; now either you cringed at the word or your mind started wandering off while thoughts of forests, tents and campfires drifted in. I personally love camping, theres nothing that makes me feel more alive then waking up and seeing the woods surrounding you. Idyllwild was such a nice experience because I got exactly that, the views and hikes left me breathless. The only downside was that it was much colder than we had anticipated and even though we weren't allowed to have a fire (dry season), but we still made the best of it. Idyllwild was beautiful and the town was amazing I would 10/10 would recommend. Oh btw, the coffee there is pretty killer 11/10.

Camouflage, the trend that keeps coming back. Given that fashion is all about 90's grunge right now of course camo was going to come back eventually and it seems like this F/W '16 was it's time. I have an unpopular opinion about camo and that is that I've always kind of liked it, it's very versatile and can be styled easily to either dress up or casual. For example; take a plisse wrap skirt, pair it with a camo tee, and some velvet platform mules and ta-da! you're all set and ready to go for a night out. You can also don some camo joggers, a neutral oversized hoodie, and some slip on sneakers and you have a total relaxed street-style vibe.

Will you be rocking this print anytime soon? and if so how will you be styling it? let me know in the comments below!

till next time!

I've been obsessed lately with wrap dresses! I've been searching high and low for the perfect maxi wrap dress (since it's fall) and needless to say I finally found it at a little boutique called Clever Element. Clever Element is a really cute, fair trade, and independent artists shop located in Carlsbad. In case you don't know what fair trade is, fair trade means that everyone who made these items/garments were paid fairly and made in excellent working conditions not to mention no child labor was involved. Clever Element is a great store with a great message behind it and they provide ethically fair apparel and gifts, if you're ever in downtown Carlsbad check them out and support your local businesses.

In true Andie fashion, I paired my maxi dress with an oversized denim jacket that I thrifted a while back and some really cute grey block heels to bring out more of the neutral colors in the dress. The outcome was this super grunge/romantic look that i'm totally in love with.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

New season means new shoes and I'm all about that new shoe game! Although new shoes can sometimes be expensive so I made a SPLURGE OR SAVE list for you guys. There have honestly been so many shoe trends this season that it's almost hard to keep track but I've pinpointed a few of my faves ( loafers, velvet and booties galore) for this season. What shoe style will you be rocking this season? let me know in the comments below!

Fall is finally here! which means I can finally don some jeans and a blouse without getting too hot. Not only that but the air is filled with PSL's and I saw one orange leaf the other day so yeah it's officially Fall here in SoCal. To ring in the new season I found these amazing jeans that make love Fall even more because now I can wear them without breaking a sweat mid-day.

These are the Levis Wedgie High-Rise Jeans and I am completely obsessed with them. I love the straight leg look with raw hem also they make my butt look good so. These jeans will be a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe so don't mind me if I end up never taking them off.

I styled my jeans with a cute off-the-shoulder billowy blouse from Free People and a double layer of chokers. Oh and whats on my feet you ask? only the cutest gray block heel sandals which are not only cute but pretty comfy as well.  They really just give any outfit an nice clean finish.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I'm so looking forward to showcasing my Fall fashion in the next few weeks. Tell me what are some of your staples for this season? let me know in the comments below!

For a while, I was getting frustrated with my skin. It always seemed like there was always new breakout or all of a sudden my skin will start drying out horribly or the dark pigmentation from said breakout wasn't going away.  I started to hate my skin so I knew that I had to change things fast before my skin got any worse. So I updated my skin care routine and the items that have been literal godsends are not at all sponsored just to let you know. I just really love them because ever since I've started using them my skin has been the best it has ever been and I just wanted to share them with you guys in case you're looking for some skin help.

While I was scrolling through Instagram I saw an ad for this thing called Curology. What hooked me in was the "first-month free" deal and I immediately signed up. The sign-up process was super easy just upload some "before" pictures of your face and list what your problems with your skin are. For example, I listed that my problems were small breakouts all over my face and dark pigmentation. After you finish the sign-up process, a dermatologist will get in contact with you and prescribe a formula for your Curology medicine. What I really like about it is that it really is formulated just for you and it really does help with all your skin problems.

I've been using this Detoxifying Black Cleanser from Boscia for a while now and I really love it. It's a gel that immediately starts warming up when it comes in contact with skin. I feel because it is a warming gel it really opens up my pores to clean them out. It's also really gentle on the skin and when used with the Konjac Cleansing Sponge it leaves your skin so, so, so soft.

This Kiehl's Recovery Concentrate is what really adds to the softness and dewiness of my skin. I use a few drops of this every night after cleansing and gently press it onto my skin. It's an essential oil used for nighttime to target skin irritations, pigmentations, and hydration. It has a lovely smell to it as well because it has primrose and lavender oil. I feel like this item is very essential because it does work wonders and makes my skin look so fresh.

Because I use Curology ( which is the medicine I listed above) I needed a sunscreen to protect my face. When I was visiting my nearest Ulta I picked up a lot of samples of this sunscreen and I actually just ran out of all my samples (she gave me like 6) so now I have to get the full sized. The Anthelios 60 Sunscreen from La Roche Posay is really light and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue or make my skin feel sticky and to top it off, it doesn't really have that sunscreen smell.

Just to show you how well these items worked I inserted an unedited photo of what my skin looks like currently sans makeup. As you can see my breakouts have disappeared and my dark pigmentation is pretty much gone. I'm now so happy with my skin and how it looks and I've gotten so many compliments and I owe it all to these 4 products.

Summer Sandals

Sandals, a crucial part of a cute summertime outfit. There have been so many different styles of sandals this season such as the mule, the espadrille wedge, the block heel, caged, and of course the pom-pom's and I'm in love with every single one of them. Here are some really adorable ones that I have my eye on!

The classic slip has officially taken over my world! not only is it super cute but it's also really comfy to wear. I styled my slip dress with some classic white Addidas and a denim jacket to keep it casual.

What I also love about this slip is that it has a nice keyhole back and an appealing gray snake print, which has also been on trend this summer. Are you guys wearing slips? and if you are what are you styling them with? let me know in the comments below!

till next time,
